So to give some quick background, I had a pain in my lower right jaw behind the last tooth and went to Dr. Wilson’s office and got a few x-rays. They saw the impacted wisdom there and gave me a few recommendations. After speaking to some friends, they recommended I see Dr. Brock. I’m glad I did!
So my first evaluation visit I noticed that I liked the waiting area and receptionist was very nice! She got me signed in quickly and with minimal effort on my behalf. I was seen promptly upon finishing my paperwork and the staff were ALL amazing! Very polite and informative ad to what they were doing, why, and what I needed to do. An overall stressful idea of how it would be was washed away quickly at this point. Was even shown an informative video regarding my particular condition, what would need to be done, and risks associated.
Dr. Brock met with me and quickly was able to diagnose what we ailing me and was even able to provide some additional insight (and thankfully explained that we only needed to get the ONE tooth...and not three) and told me I’d need to come back for extraction. Dr Brick took the time to listen to my needs and concerns an took them into full consideration.
My procedure went great!y comfort was taken into consideration at all times and Dr Brock was able to even able to break the ice with some humor.
My recovery was easy as the practice gave me clear guidelines. Pain was minimal considering everything that was done and I was back on my feet fully within 3 days! Not saying everyone would be the same but I was able to go back to work on day 4 ..,admittedly I work in IT though... :)
All in all from first visit to my follow up today, I’ve felt like I was in good hands with the staff there and especially with Dr Brock. I’ll definitely be a patient for life! Hopefully I won’t be there TOO often, but finding and oral surgeon and practice I feltcomfortable with was previously no easy task. Highly recommended in all faucets.
Edit: one last thing...I see some complaints about pricing. I was told up front everything would be submitted to my insurance. Everything that was submittable! And that if some was covered? They would send a check to me or give me a credit. (Cant remember which for certain)
